Garnett Dugan, age 100, of Hollidaysburg, passed away Wednesday afternoon, October 16, 2019, at her home. She was born November 2, 1918 in Altoona, a daughter of the late William D. and Alice (Smith) Dugan.
Survived by two sisters: Martha Chamberlain and Delores Hendrickson, both of Hollidaysburg; a sister-in-law Vivian Dugan of Hollidaysburg; and numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved all very much.
She was preceded in death by two sisters: Millicent Kempfer and Miriam Cruse, and two brothers: Goodling and David Dugan.
Garnett was a graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. She retired from Sylvania. She was a long-time member of First United Methodist Church Hollidaysburg.
She enjoyed quilting, sewing, bus trips, puzzles, watching the birds and wildlife in her backyard, and spending time with her family.
Friends will be received on Sat., Oct. 19, 2019 from 10am until Noon, immediately followed by a funeral service at Noon, at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 1218 4th Ave., Duncansville. Interment will take place at Geeseytown Cemetery.
