Obituary

Alma K. Wallace, age 67, of Duncansville, died Saturday morning, December 3, 2022 at home. She was born March 30, 1955 in Altoona, daughter of the late John W. and Edith E. (Ferguson) Wysong. She married Bruce E. Wallace on August 18, 1972 in Canaan Station.

Survived by her husband Bruce; 9 children: Bruce Allen of Duncansville, Annette McCauley (Chris) of Saxton, Sam of Texas, Terry of Houtzdale, Benjamin (Alaina) of Tennessee, Drew of Cresson, Christopher of Duncansville, Katrina Yonkosky (Ryan) of Duncanville, and Laura of Duncansville; 7 grandchildren: Joseph, Matthew, Phillip, Tiffany, Dustin, Stanley, and Rebel; a sister Edith Bender of Altoona; and 5 nieces and nephews.

Alma was a 1973 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. She was a member of Trans4mation Church, Altoona, and a member of Bedford County Draft Horse Club.

She enjoyed horses, cooking, and spending time with her family.

Friends will be received from 2-5:30pm on Friday, December 9, 2022 followed by a funeral service at 5:30pm at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Duncansville. Interment will take place at Dry Run Cemetery.
