Obituary
Alta Louise Wahl, age 87, of Duncansville, died Saturday morning, January 7, 2023 at her home after an extended illness. She was born May 15, 1935 in Altoona, a daughter of the late Earl L. and Alta L. (Ritchey) Bowser. She married Robert H. Wahl on November 28, 1964 in Duncansville. He preceded her in death on April 16, 1995.
Survived by a son Charles “Chuck” Moser (wife Kim) of Michigan; a daughter Helen Tipton of Pittsburgh; several grandchildren, including: Pamela Laura (husband Adam), Randi Wicks (husband Dan), and Matthew Moser (wife Eleanor); and 17 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her caregiver, Elwood Morrison, Jr. of Duncansville, and her two beloved dogs.
Louise was preceded in death by all her siblings: Virginia, Harry, Robert, William, Harold, Earl, Paul, and Samuel Bowser, and E. Ruth Baker. She was also preceded in death by four infant siblings: Elwood, Nina, Kathleen, and Grace.
At the request of the deceased, all services will be private. Interment will take place at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Gallitzin.
