Anne S. Forsht, age 81, of The Winds at Mattern Orchard, Duncansville, Blair Township, Blair County, died Wednesday morning, November 10, 2021. She was born November 1, 1940 in Quantico, VA, a daughter of the late A. Robert and Helen (Snow) Stacy. She married R. Gar Forsht on July 25, 1965 in Santa Ana, CA.
Surviving are her husband, R. Gar Forsht of Hollidaysburg; a son, Ralph N. Forsht and wife Krista and grandsons: Luke Gar Forsht, and Jack and Cole Hartling, all of Potomac Falls, VA; granddaughters: Katelyn Anne MacIntyre of Boca Raton, FL, Mya and Eve MacIntyre of Mill Hall, PA; a sister, Sharon S. Tworoger of San Diego, CA; five nephews: Mark, Ty, and Keith Dellinger of Duncansville, Kip Barnes of Duncansville, and Pat (Josi) Tworoger of San Diego, CA; and one niece, Stacy Tworoger of La Jolla, CA.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Stacy Madge MacIntyre and a grandson, William P. “Will” MacIntyre IV, of Lock Haven, whom both were killed in an I-80 auto accident near Loganton, PA in December 2001; mother, Helen S. Stacy of San Ana, CA in 1979, father, A. Robert Stacy of San Ana, CA in 1996; and a brother, James Stacy of San Rafael, CA in 1994.
Anne was a 1958 graduate of Edenton Senior High School, Edenton, NC. She attended Stephens College, Columbia, MO, and graduated with an A.A. in education in 1960.
Mrs. Forsht worked at Danks Co., State College, PA from 1965 to 1968. She stared raising a family in 1968. She worked in the cafeteria of the Annandale Senior High School from 1986 to 1994 while her children were in college. She was a homemaker.
She and her family moved from Alexandria, VA to the Forsht Farm, Duncansville in 1995 and was co-owner of the farm until 2005 when it was sold. She enjoyed being with her children and grandchildren, raising flowers, reading and following the news of TV and in internet. Anne also enjoyed spending the winter months from 2006 to 2019 in N. Fort Myers, FL.
At the request of the deceased there will be no viewing or funeral service. Interment will be at the Carson Valley Cemetery, Duncansville, PA.
