Barbara A (Teegardin) McMaster

Barbara A. McMaster, age 78, of Duncansville, died Saturday, September 17, 2022 at home following an extended illness. She was born August 16, 1944 in Altoona, daughter of the late Max Teegardin and Hazel (Crotsley) Piper.

Survived by her husband, Stephen “Pete” McMaster; four children: Doug McMaster of Hollidaysburg, Sherri Zyra (Joseph) of Duncansville, Scott McMaster (Kim) of Duncansville, and Tim McMaster of Hollidaysburg; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and five sisters: Peggy Campbell (Ralph) of Hollidaysburg, Polly Weyant of Arizona, Vicki Burk (John) of Duncansville, Lori Brumbaugh (Jim) of Martinsburg, and Joni Stell (Bill) of Duncansville.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Leidy, and her step-father, Kenneth Piper.

Barb was a 1962 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 from 10am until noon. A funeral service will immediate follow at noon at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Duncansville. The Rev. Jaime Olson will officiate. Interment will take place at Alto-Reste Cemetery.
