Barry B Shoenfelt

Barry B. Shoenfelt, age 76, a resident of Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Altoona, formerly of Hollidaysburg, went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at the home. He was born February 26, 1947 in Altoona, the son of the late Ray B. and Erdene B. (Wertz) Shoenfelt.

He is survived by a daughter Heather Moyer of Hollidaysburg; a grandson Collin Spotts; a sister Debbie Rhodes (Steve) of Altoona; four nieces; a special cousin Karen Wilt; and his former spouse Linda Despot.

He was preceded in death by an infant son, Brett.

Barry was a 1965 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. He retired as a stone mason from Smith Masonry, Inc., Hollidaysburg. He was a member of West Loop Missionary Church.

He enjoyed fly fishing, hunting, duck hunting, and spending time with his grandson and going to Collin’s sporting events. Barry was a Boston Celtics fan.

Friends will be received on Monday, March 13, 2023 from 1 until the 3pm funeral service at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Duncansville. Pastor Terry Farr will officiate. Interment will take place at Alto-Reste Cemetery.
