Betty Kay Stahl, age 72, a resident of the Lutheran Home at Hollidaysburg, passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2019, at the home. She was born May 30, 1946 in Philipsburg, a daughter of the late Clarence and Catherine (Herr) Stahl.
Survived by two daughters: Kelly Black (husband Rollin) and Becky Emery; 7 grandchildren: Robert Lykens, Brandin Black, Curtis and Zach Stahl, Elizabeth Springer, Sheena Fischer, and Cathy Emery; several great-grandchildren; a sister Judy Stuart (husband Jack); and a daughter-in-law Carol Stahl.
She was preceded in death by a son David in 2014 and two brothers: Thomas and William Stahl.
Betty was a graduate of Tyrone High School. She previously worked for Bi-Lo grocery store in Altoona. She enjoyed going on vacations to Tennessee with her sister, and going to BINGO and doing activities with friends at her previous home at Green Avenue Towers in Altoona.
There will be no public viewing or services.
