Brenda L (Smith) Hott

Brenda L. Hott, age 52, of Duncansville, passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2025 at her home. She was born June 27, 1973 in Elizabethtown, daughter of Winifred (Stahl) and the late Walter H. Smith.

Surviving are sons, Jeromy Smith of Duncansville and Dylan Lytle of Altoona; a grandson, Kyler Lytle; her mother, Winifred Smith of Duncansville; and two brothers, Michael and Steven Smith.

Brenda was a graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. She was employed for many years as a Certified Nursing Assistant. She enjoyed being outdoors, horses and horseback riding, and spending time with her family.

At request of the deceased, services will be held at a later date.

Memorial Contributions in Brenda’s name may be made to the Central PA Humane Society (1837 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd. Altoona, PA 16602).
