Brian J. George, age 60, of Duncansville, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, March 5, 2020 at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh, following a brief illness. He was born April 27, 1959 in Altoona, a son of the late Patricia (White) George and Mason J. George of Altoona. He married Linda Walters on Sept. 5, 1981 at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Duncansville.
Survived by a son, Justin George (wife Joree) of Duncansville; a daughter Kristy George of Duncansville; three granddaughters: Jaycee, Morrison and Mclaine; two sisters: Cindy Wertz and Mary George, both of Altoona; two brothers: Bruce George of Harrisburg and Zane George of Frederick, MD; and his father of Altoona.
He was preceded in death by a sister Bonnie Falina and two brothers: Barry George and Mason George, Jr.
Brian was a 1977 graduate of Altoona High School. He was the owner of Brian George Construction – Home of Gutterman Seamless Gutters. He was a member of Sylvan Hills Golf Course. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, collecting antiques, traveling, helping others, and spending time with his family.
Brian was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed.
Friends will be received on Sunday, March 8, 2020 from 5-9pm and on Monday, March 9 from 10am until the 11am funeral service at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 1218 4th Ave., Duncansville. Interment will take place at Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood.
