Bridgett L Merritts

Bridgett L. Merritts, age 57, of Williamsburg, died Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at home, following a brief battle with cancer. She was born October 30, 1967 in Clearfield, a daughter of the late Donald Harry and Rose Roxanne (Cole) Merritts.

Surviving is her significant other, Fred House; five children: India Merritts (Shaun Lloyd), Chris Snyder, Zack Merritts, Danny House (Paige Lear), and Kyle House; 12 grandchildren: Akaira, Freet, Sahara, Xavier, Darin, Aiden, Alana, Jackson, Jaxton, Zaden, Kellin, Ember, and one granddaughter on the way; and 7 siblings: Cindy Stephens, Pam Shaffer, April Davis, Donald Merritts, Rick Merritts, Dale Merritts, and Ross Merritts; a daughter-in-law, Erin House-Blumenthal; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Harry Merritts, and an infant sister, Windy Kay Merritts.

Bridgett had worked for Raystown Transit and the Williamsburg School District.

She enjoyed flowers and birds, supporting her son's basketball games, and spending time with her family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
