C. Robert Taylor

C. Robert Taylor, age 85, of Duncansville, died Sunday morning, November 5, 2023 at Midtown Oaks Health & Rehab Center, Altoona. He was born April 13, 1938 in Pittsburgh, a son of the late George and Virginia (Richards) Taylor. He married Helen L. Keller in 1958 in West Virginia.

Survived by his wife, Helen L. Taylor; four children: Deborah Claar of Duncansville, R. Scott Taylor of Waynesboro, Robin Kramkowski of State College, and Michael Taylor of Altoona; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Connie Wall of Martinsburg, W.Va. and Kathleen Kelley of Hollidaysburg.

He was preceded in death by two brothers: Dick Taylor and Bill Taylor, and a sister, Barb Oplinger.

Bob was a 1956 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. He retired from Bell Telephone, where he worked as a cable splicer.

He loved playing volleyball.
