Obituary
Calvin N. McCune, age 88, formerly of Morgantown, died Friday, June 16, 2023 at the Hollidaysburg Veterans Home. He was born April 5, 1935 in Latrobe, son of the late Calvin A. and Emily (Klingensmith) McCune.
Surviving are two children; 4 grandchildren; and two siblings.
He was preceded in death by a brother.
Calvin was a 1954 graduate of Latrobe High School. He attended Greensburg Business School. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving from Jan. 7, 1957 until Dec. 13, 1968.
Friends will be received on Thursday, June 22, 2023 from 10 until the 11am funeral at Hick’s Memorial United Methodist Church, Duncansville, with full Military Honors. Rev. Rich Morris will officiate. Interment will take place at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Hick’s Memorial United Methodist Church (1211 3rd Ave., Duncansville, PA 16635).
