Carol Joanne Stoner

Carol Joanne “Dappy” Stoner, age 92, of Hollidaysburg, died Saturday, December 7, 2024 at home, following a brief illness. She was born December 25, 1931 in Martinsburg, a daughter of the late Harry R. and Catherine E. (Raessler) Stoner.

Surviving are 10 nieces and nephews and numerous great-nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Mentzer, and two brothers: Ren and Robert Stoner.

Dappy was a 1952 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. She retired from Centre Film Lab in State College, where she worked for 28 years.

She previously enjoyed playing baseball, basketball, and softball, and watching sports, especially the Pittsburgh Pirates.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no public services.
