C. Edward Coho, age 88, a resident of the Presbyterian Village at Hollidaysburg, formerly of Maple Hollow, passed away Friday, May 9, 2025 at the home. He was born October 28, 1936 in Lakemont, son of the late Andrew W. and Kathryn (Bailey) Coho. On August 11, 1956, he married the love of his life, Eva Loretta Lanzendorfer. She preceded him in death on June 11, 2023 after almost 67 years of marriage. They had five children together.
Survived by three children: Donald Edward and wife Debra Darone, Jennifer Lynn and husband Dennis Eger, and Stephanie Ann and husband Byron Lee Maurer; three very special granddaughters: Danielle (James Spencer), and Alyssa and Carly Maurer; and sister-in-laws: Ruth Coho, Leona Lanzendorfer, and Glenda Lanzendorfer.
He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Loretta Mary, who was born and passed on May 12, 1958; his oldest son, Mark Devon Coho on Sept. 19, 2021; his parents; a brother, Kenneth P. Coho; as well as multiple nieces and nephews.
Ed was a 1953 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. He was a US Air Force veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict. Throughout his working career, he was a route salesman for Coca Cola, and had worked for Stroehmann Bakery, TelPower, and Blair Senior Services.
He was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Duncansville, where he had served as a hospitality person.
Friends will be received on Monday, May 12, 2025 from 4-7pm and on Tuesday, May 13 from 9-10:30am at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Duncansville. A Mass will follow at 11am at St. Catherine of Siena Church with Father Jeremy Mohler as celebrant. Committal will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
