Cora M (Bechtol) Stacey

Cora M. Stacey, age 77, formally of Carson Valley, died Friday evening, April 8, 2022 at Hillview Chateau, Altoona. She was born May 6, 1944 in Pensacola, Florida, daughter of the late John (Gladys Holt) and Shirley M. (Salyards) Bechtol.

On June 6, 1964 she married Thomas S. Stacey, who preceded her in death on Oct. 11, 2016.

Surviving are two sons: Thomas P. Stacey (Sherry) of East Freedom and John H. Stacey (Susan) in southern Maryland; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister Deb Crabaugh; and a brother Roger Bechtol.

She was preceded in death by a newborn son, Shawn, a grandchild,  a great-grandchild, and a brother in law.

Cora was a graduate, a housewife, and she previously attended church.

Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 from 2-4pm at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Duncansville. Interment will take place at Presbyterian Cemetery, Hollidaysburg.
