Dale E Snyder

Dale E. Snyder, age 81, of Duncansville, died unexpectedly at home on Sunday, October 9, 2022. He was born July 10, 1941 in Altoona, a son of the late Merle C. and Marie G. (Woolridge) Snyder.

Surviving is a daughter Jennifer M.Snyder of Pembroke Pines, FL; a son John E. Snyder of Duncansville; two grandchildren: Mila and Aydan; and several step-siblings.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Fred Snyder.

Dale was a 1959 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. He was a US Air Force veteran. He retired from IBEW Local #5 as an electrician.

Dale loved the outdoors and enjoyed skiing, , walking, hiking, biking, and socializing at Blue Knob and going for breakfast in Hollidaysburg with great friends. He was very knowledgeable about maps, geography and leaves. He played baseball when he was younger on teams in Duncansville. Dale enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no services. Interment will take place at Dry Run Cemetery.
