David L Garver

David L. Garver, 57, of Hollidaysburg, died unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, October 1, 2024. He was born April 26, 1967 in Altoona, a son of the late Franklin B. and Frances M. (Hart) Garver. He married Michelle M. Fox on October 2, 1999 in Altoona.

Surviving is his wife of 25 years, Michelle; a son, Alex Garver; a brother, Kenneth D. Garver; a cousin, Eddie Garver; a brother-in-law, Steve Magill; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by an infant son, Gabriel, and a sister, Debra Magill.

Dave was a 1985 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School and also received an associate’s degree from Mount Aloysius College. He worked as a CT Scan Technician at Indiana Regional Medical Center. He formerly worked at Mount Nittany Medical Center.

He loved golfing and was a member of Sinking Valley Country Club. Dave enjoyed spending time with his golf buddies, listening to music, especially the band KISS, and history.

Friends will be received from 2-8pm on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Duncansville.
