David W Walk

David W. Walk, age 66, of Duncansville, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at UPMC Mercy, Pittsburgh. He was born April 20, 1954 in Altoona, a son of the late Wilbur F. Walk, Jr. and Pearl E. (Mertiff) Walk. He married Virginia A. Pressler on October 21, 1972 in Winchester, VA, who preceded him in death on Dec. 22, 2019.

Survived by a son, Travis Walk (Lindsay) of Duncansville; two siblings: Wilbur F. Walk III (Nancy) and Peggy Jo Sky-Eagle, both of Spring, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.

David was a 1972 graduate of Bellwood-Antis High School. He worked for Gallagher's Dairy as a truck driver for 36 years, just retiring in 2019.

He enjoyed working outside, gardening, and scratching lottery tickets. He loved his dogs, Molly and Mindy.

At request of the deceased, there will be no public services. Interment will take place at Blair Memorial Park.
