Dolores J (Dugan) Hendrickson

Dolores J. Hendrickson, age 90, a resident of the Lutheran Home at Hollidaysburg, formerly of Duncansville, died Thursday morning, February 6, 2025 at the home. She was born June 17, 1934 in Hollidaysburg, a daughter of the late William D. and Alice (Smith) Dugan. She married Charles C. Hendrickson on Dec. 27, 1980 in Duncansville. He preceded her in death on August 18, 2005.

Surviving is a step-daughter, Barbara Golding (Thomas) of Philipsburg; a step-daughter-in-law, Marsha Hendrickson of Driftwood; a sister-in-law, Vivian “Biddy” Dugan of Hollidaysburg; numerous nieces and nephews; and her close friend, Mary Jo Campolong of Duncansville.

She was preceded in death by all six of her siblings: Miriam Cruse, Millicent Kempfer, Garnett Dugan, Martha Chamberlain, Goodling Dugan, and David Dugan; and her step-son, William Hendrickson.

Dorrie was a graduate of Hollidaysburg High School.

She was a member of Hick’s Memorial Methodist Church, where she assisted in the Kitchen Class. She enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles and word searches.

Friends will be received from 1 until the 2pm funeral service Sunday, February 9, 2025 at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Duncansville. Rev. Rich Morris will officiate. Interment will take place at Geeseytown Cemetery.
