Donald J Deter

Donald J. Deter, age 77, of Altoona, died Sunday, July 5, 2020 at UPMC Altoona following an extended illness. He was born in Huntingdon, a son of the late Wilfred L. and Grace A. (Civitts) Deter. He was the last of his immediate family.

Don was a graduate of Huntingdon High School. He was a US Army veteran, serving from 1963-1965. He retired from Owens Corning Fiberglass, where he worked as a General Manager.

At Don's request, there will be no services. Interment will take place at Mountainview Cemetery, Mill Creek.
