Donald B Yocum

Donald B. Yocum, age 89, of Hollidaysburg, died Wednesday, October 30, 2025 at home. He was born March 13, 1935 in Huntingdon, a son of the late Charles and Ada (Rinker) Yocum. He married Cornelia A. Dively on July 1, 1968 in Winchester, VA. She preceded him in death on February 18, 2013.

Surviving are two grandchildren: Meagan Miller and Justin Clark; 5 great-grandchildren: Daleen Olivieri, Phoenix and Miya Miller, and Olivia and Evan Clark; a special nephew Terry Getz and family; beloved family in Mount Union and Chambersburg; and many friends.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Annette Eckenrod, 5 siblings: Ralph Yocum, E. Dean Yocum, Dorothy Stumbaugh, Phyllis Sneath, and Mary Virginia Kelly; 2 grandchildren: Perry Olivieri and infant Tina Eckenrod; and a special nephew, Charles Getz.

Donald was a US Army veteran, serving from 1954 to 1956, where he was stationed in Hawaii. He was a member of the Hollidaysburg Masonic Lodge.

He retired as a truck driver for Teamsters. Following retirement, he also worked as a contractor for Bill Campbell’s Construction and a driver for Hoss’s.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no public services. Interment will take place at Alto-Reste Cemetery, Altoona.
