Doris J. Bryan, age 87, of Carson Valley, died early Sunday morning, October 20, 2019, at her home. She was born June 6, 1932 in Hollidaysburg, a daughter of the late Oscar K. and Lilly B. (Claar) Stuckey. She married William M. Bryan, Sr. on Nov. 23, 1951 in Winchester, VA.
Survived by her husband of 68 years, William M. Bryan, Sr.; 3 children: William M. Bryan, Jr. (wife Cynthia) of Duncansville, Pamela Zebroski (husband Walter) of East Freedom, and Dwight Bryan (wife Melissa) of Altoona; 4 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister Miriam Wilson and 2 brothers: Dwight Stuckey and Oscar K. Stuckey II.
Doris was a 1950 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. She was an accomplished musician, playing the organ, piano and marimba for many years professionally.
Friends will be received on Wed., Oct. 23, 2019 from 2-4 and 6-8pm and on Thurs., Oct. 24 from 10 until the 11am funeral service, officiated by Pastor Mark Lingenfelter, at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Duncansville. Interment will take place at Carson Valley Cemetery.
