Douglas W. Fluke, age 69, of Hollidaysburg, died Friday evening, March 15, 2024 at UPMC Altoona, following a brief illness. He was born November 5, 1954 in Altoona, a son of the late William Orville and Marjorie Mae (Ingram) Fluke.
Surviving is a daughter, Kristin Woleslagle (Chad) of Tamaqua; three grandchildren: Alisa Smith (Shawn), Adam Fluke, and Sydney Woleslagle; a great-grandchild, Kacy Smith; a brother, Greg Fluke (Martha) of South Carolina; and two nephews: Derek and Todd Fluke.\
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Shannon Zook, in 2011.
Doug was a graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. He retired from Conrail in Hollidaysburg.
He enjoyed clogging and was a past member of the Horseshoe Cloggers. He was known by many as 'the candy man' and would hand out candy to others everywhere he went. Doug loved his dogs.
There will be no public services.
