Dwight D. “Ike” Hartman, age 75, of Duncansville, died Tuesday evening, May 10, 2022 at UPMC Altoona. He was born June 29, 1946 in Altoona, son of the late Herbert J. and Olive M. (Dell) Hartman. He married Connie A. Focht on Feb. 24, 1968 in Winchester, VA.
Surviving is his wife of 54 years, Connie Hartman; two daughters: Becky Hartman (Toby) of Huntingdon and Lisa Mobley (Denny) of Puzzletown; and a grandson, Jason Mobley (Hector Rosado) of Pittsburgh.
Ike was a 1966 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. He retired from Appleton Papers.
He was a member of Hollidaysburg Church of the Brethren, the Williamsburg Beagle Club, and the Little Juniata River Association.
Ike enjoyed fishing, tying flies, woodworking, hunting, reloading shells, going to shotgun shoots, competing in long-range bench-rest shooting, and working part-time at Brown’s Funeral Home. He loved his family dearly.
Friends will be received on Friday, May 13, 2022 from 6-9pm at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Duncansville, and on Saturday, May 14 from 10am until the 11am funeral service at Hollidaysburg Church of the Brethren. Pastor Linda Banaszak will officiate. Interment will take place at Alto-Reste Cemetery.
