Frederick E Eger

Frederick Eugene Eger, age 61, of Hollidaysburg, died peacefully on Friday, July 18, 2025 at UPMC Altoona following an extended illness. He was born January 17, 1964 in Altoona, a son of the late Frederick M. and Judith A. (Irvin) Eger.

Surviving is a sister, Kara Brenneman (David) of Duncansville; a brother, Raymond Eger of Bellefonte; and numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by three siblings: Kathy Lee Payne, Kandy Grove, and Dale Eger, and a nephew, Jedidiah Eckardt.

Fred was a Hollidaysburg High School graduate. He had previously worked for Millennium Rail and he enjoyed hunting, wrestling, and hanging out with friends.

At Fred’s request, there will be no public services.
