Genevieve D Bracciale

Genevieve D. Bracciale, age 93, of Duncansville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at UPMC Canterbury Place, Pittsburgh. She was born November 10, 1923 in Hastings. She married Anthony J. Bracciale in 1972 and he preceded her in death in 2010.

Survived by two grandsons: Douglas and David Lubert, four great-grandchildren: Ben, Noah, Brooklyn and Emmy; and a step-daughter, Jean Schiappa. She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Jude Lubert in 1994; four brothers and three sisters.

Genevieve retired from Veeder-Root in 1985. She attended and was an active part of the St. Patrick Church community.

She enjoyed spending quality time with her family, reading books, traveling, her dogs, playing cards, watching PennState football, and despite strong objections from her family, having a deep love for the New England Patriots and Tom Brady.

Friends will be received on Tuesday, Oct., 10, 2017 from 6-8pm at Liebegott-Brown Funeral Home, Inc., 1218 4th Ave., Duncansville. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10am on Wed., Oct. 11 at St. Patrick Church, Newry, officiated by Father Allen Zeth. Interment will take place at St. Bernard Cemetery, Hastings.
