James Fowler Obituary

James P. Fowler, age 92, of Hollidaysburg, passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, January 3, 2018, at home. He was born and educated in Johnstown, son of the late James and Bessie (Virgin) Fowler.

He was a US Navy veteran, serving in both WWII and the Korean Conflict. He was proprietor of Stone House Inn in McKee. He was a former well driller and Sheriff in Loudoun County, VA.

Jim is survived by his wife, Carol; a sister, Becky; his doting step-daughters: Kathy (John) and Amy; step-granddaughters: Sarah and Maura; and his cat, Pia.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no public viewing. A memorial service will be held at the family's convenience.
