James F. “Jim Bob” McConnell, age 69, of Warriors Mark, died Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at Mount Nittany Medical Center. He was born December 4, 1952 in Baltimore, MD, son of the late Raymond E. and Catherine A. (Ieraci) McConnell. He married Suzy K. Imler on June 5, 2014 in Winchester, VA.
Surviving is his wife, Suzy; two daughters: Cheri McConnell, Jaime Richard; a step-son, James Imler; four grandchildren: Austin, Paige, Rylee, and Leo; a sister, Jeanie Mills; and his beloved dog, Riley.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond, Jr.
Jim Bob was a 1972 graduate of Tyrone Area High School. He retired from PPG and PGW as a machine operator in 2015. He also worked as a security guard at Tyrone Hospital.
He was an active lifetime member of Warriors Mark Franklin Vol. Fire Company and the Hookie Fire Company and was a member of the Neptune Fire Company. He was an EMT at Bellwood and Hookies. Jim Bob was also a member of the Warriors Mark Historical Society.
A Celebration of Life with Last Call will be held at 2pm on Sun., Oct. 16, 2022 at Warriors Mark Franklin Vol. Fire Company.
