Jennifer Lynn Wilkes

Jennifer Lynn Wilkes, age 46, of Altoona, died unexpectedly early Wednesday morning, April 21, 2021, after a brief illness, at UPMC Altoona. She was born April 9, 1975 in Altoona, a daughter of Larry W. Wilkes, Sr. and Susan D. (Clapper) Sprinkle.

She is survived by her parents; her long-time companion, Chris Lostaglia; a daughter, Meygan Lostaglia; two siblings: Larry W. Wilkes, Jr. and Victoria Wilkes; and grandmother, Dorothy M. Clapper.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Pennie Roller on Dec. 12, 2020, and grandfather, Walter "Sonny" Clapper, Sr. in 2018.

Jen was a 1994 graduate of Altoona High School. She enjoyed cooking, swimming, going to picnics, and loved children.

A memorial gathering for Jennifer and her sister, Pennie, will be held from 11am until 2pm on Saturday, June 26, 2021 at New Life Community Church, 621 Bell Ave., Altoona.
