Jessie D Shultz

Jessie D. Shultz, age 78, of Altoona, died Sunday, January 6, 2018, at UPMC Altoona. He was born February 21, 1940 in Williamsburg, son of the late Warren H. and Chloe (Lewis) Shultz. He married Anna H. McCarthy on Feb. 3, 1968.

Survived by his wife, Anna; three children: Paula Lafferty, Brandon Shultz and Jeffery Shultz, all of Altoona; 7 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; four siblings: Sarah Smith of Michigan, Ronald Shultz and Frederick Shultz, both of Williamsburg, and Mary Rightnour of Altoona; three step-children: Renate Huber, Brenda Fosselman and Randall Fosselman, all of Altoona; 4 step-grandchildren; and 2 step-great-grandchildren.

Jessie was a US Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam era. He had worked for the City of Altoona at the Water and Sewer Department. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.

At Jessie’s request, there will be no public viewing or services.
