Beloved Judith Ann (Hite) Brown, age 79, of Dillsburg, passed away Monday, October 3, 2022 at UPMC Harrisburg, surrounded by the love of her family. She was born September 4, 1943 in Newry, daughter of the late Roger J. and Gertrude L. (Baker) Hite. Judy spent her childhood growing up on a farm on Catfish Road in Duncansville, where she met her dear husband, William R. “Ralph” Brown, Sr., whom she married on Apr. 27, 1963 at St. Patrick Church, Newry.
Surviving are her husband, Ralph; cherished children: William R. “Bill” Brown, Jr. of Hershey, Allen C. Brown (Megan) of Boiling Springs, and Jennifer A. Byers (William) of Dillsburg; her adoring grandchildren: William R. “Wil” Brown III (Bryan Gill), Farryn Brown, Tristen Menslage (Dakoda), Darius Brown (Emily), Christopher Brown, Maria Brown, Alexa Brown, Isabella Brown, Michael Brown; a great-grandson Huntley Menslage, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by an infant daughter Kimberly in 1968, her brother James R. Hite in 1992 and his wife Diane, and daughter-in-law Helen F. Woltman-Brown in 2020.
She was a 1961 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. Judy had worked at EDS Corp. in Camp Hill. She loved spending time with her family, going to her grandchildren’s activities, going to the beach, and making people laugh.
Judy was loved by her family, fiercely and deeply. We take great comfort in knowing she is at peace and surrounded by the light. Anyone who had the honor to know her was touch by kindness and laughter and knew she was truly a source of love and positivity.
Friends will be received on Monday, October 17, 2022 from 10 to 11am with a 11am Memorial Service at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Duncansville. Reception to immediately follow at Duncansville Community Center.
Interment will take place at Mountain Road Cemetery, Dillsburg.

One of Judy’s famous quotes: "It is what it is, It was what it was, and it will be what it will be"
