Kathleen A VonColln

Kathleen A. VonColln, age 68, of Altoona, was called home on Wednesday morning, January 24, 2018, unexpectedly. Born February 26, 1949 in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late George and Anne (Kirsch) McElroy. She married Frank R. VonColln, who preceded her in death.

Survived by children: Kurt VonColln (wife Renee), Frank VonColln (wife Erica) and Colleen VonColln; 6 grandchildren: Katie, Angel, Cherokee, Sammy, Jasmine and Lil Kurt; 2 great-grandchildren: Christopher and Lucy; a brother, Tom McElroy (wife Pat); and her fiancé, Abe Smith.

Kathy was a retired RN and enjoyed reading, coloring, and spending time with her family.

Friends will be received on Mon., Jan. 29, 2018 from 5-7pm, where a memorial service will be held immediately following at 7pm, officiated by Chaplain Keith Natoli, at Liebegott-Brown Funeral Home, Inc., 1218 4th Ave., Duncansville.

A memorial service will also be held at the Givnish Funeral Home, 10975 Academy Rd., Philadelphia. Date and time will follow.

Interment will take place at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.
