Kenneth P Smith

Kenneth P. Smith, age 66, of Carson Valley, Duncansville, peacefully went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 22, 2025, due to a recent illness. He was born August 8, 1958 in Altoona, a son of the late Francis A. and Betty J. (Stere) Smith. He married Apryl D. Smith on August 14, 1975.

Survived by his wife of 50 years; a son, Kenneth G. Smith (Julie); a daughter, Amber Miles (Adam); four grandchildren: Alex Miles, Charlie Smith, Ajay Miles, and Tabetha Smith; and six siblings: Sheila Evans, Donna Hoover, Nancy Smith, Frances Heacock (Joe), Betsy Sutton, and Miriam Clapper.

Ken was a 1976 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. He worked at Blair Image Elements, Altoona, for almost 48 years.

He was an active member of Carson Valley Church of the Brethren and Berean Baptist Church, serving the Lord as a past Deacon and youth group leader at both churches.

Ken enjoyed hunting, fishing, attending Hollidaysburg football games, and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Friends will be received on Thursday, June 26, 2025 from 2 until the 5pm funeral service at Carson Valley Church of the Brethren. Pastor Barry Fry will officiate. Interment will take place at Carson Valley Cemetery.
