Leo W Kunik

Leo W. Kunik, age 101, of Altoona, died Monday morning, November 19, 2018, at Hillview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Altoona. He was born October 16, 1917 in Altoona, a son of the late Isadore and Mary (Dyminska) Kunik.

He is survived by 2 nephews: Joseph Chirdon (wife Jean) and William Chirdon (wife Karen), all of Altoona, and several great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother Walter Kunik and a sister Helen Chirdon.

Leo was a US Army Air Forces veteran, serving during WWII. He retired as a self-employed carpenter.
