Marian L. Rabenstein, age 91, of Duncansville, died Tuesday morning, August 12, 2025 at The Village at Morrison’s Cove, Martinsburg. She was born August 29, 1933 in Altoona, daughter of the late Simon D. and Ella P. (Whitfield) Ford. She married R. Gene Rabenstein on August 2, 1952 in Winchester, VA. He preceded her in death on June 9, 1999.
Surviving are three children: Sharon L. Fedorko of Duncansville, Donald A. Rabenstein (Glenna) of Duncanville, and William M. Rabenstein (Barbara) of Altoona; 6 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Robert C. Ford of Duncansville.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Brandon; a great-granddaughter, Savannah; and a son-in-law, James Fedorko.
Marian attended Altoona High School. She retired from Sylvania in 1981 after 28 years of work.
She was a member of Hick’s Memorial Methodist Church. She enjoyed doing water aerobics at the YMCA, gardening and lawn work, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Interment services, conducted by Pastor Don Mast of Altoona First Southern Baptist Church, will be held at the convenience of the family at Alto-Reste Cemetery.
