Mary Jane Kaufman, age 80, of Cross Keys, Duncansville, died Monday night, October 10, 2022 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, following a brief illness. She was born February 13, 1942 in Duncansville, a daughter of the late David A. and Elvaline (Brubaker) Kaufman.
She is survived by 6 nieces; 4 nephews; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by three brothers: Jim Kaufman, Mearle E. Kaufman, and Kenneth L. Kaufman; and one sister, Shirley J Zeek.
Mary Jane was a 1959 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. She retired from Warnaco.
She was a life-long member of Carson Valley Church of the Brethren, where she was involved with the Women’s Fellowship. Mary Jane enjoyed doing crafts and watching her soap operas. She was a Dallas Cowboy fan.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, October 18, 2022 from 10am until the noon, immediately followed by a Funeral Service all at Carson Valley Church of the Brethren. Pastor Bradley Runkle will officiate. Interment will take place at Carson Valley Cemetery.
