Mary J. Lanzendorfer, 77, Duncansville, died Sunday evening, September 2, 2018, at home after a brief illness. Born February 10, 1941 in Altoona, she was a daughter of the late Leo and Ruth (Schilling) Lanzendorfer.
She is survived by a son, Van Lanzendorfer (Lisa) of Duncansville; 5 grandchildren: Lindsey, Lauren, Van II, and Nathon Lanzandorfer and Jared Musselman; two sisters: Shirley Romani (Larry) of Hollidaysburg and Arlene Moyer (Lynn) of Duncansville; and two brothers: John (Linda) and Bernard (Marilyn), all of Duncansville.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Tracy Musselman in 2010, and two brothers: Leo “Buster” and Glenie.
Mary was a 1960 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Church and a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
She enjoyed dancing, singing Karaoke with her family, and playing cards and Bingo.
Friends will be received from 6-9pm on Thurs., Sept. 6, 2018 at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 1218 4th Ave., Duncansville. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am on Fri., Sept. 7 at St. Catherine of Siena Church. Interment will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hollidaysburg.
