Mary Lucic Obituary
Mary Catherine “Kay” Lucic, age 84, a resident of Somerset Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center, Somerset, formerly of Hollidaysburg, died Friday morning, November 3, 2023 at the home. She was born November 26, 1938 in Altoona, a daughter of the late Jack C. Sr. and Helen T. (Drass) Richards.
She is survived by five siblings: Jack Richards Jr. of Duncansville, Paul Richards of Three Springs, Peggy Claycomb of Duncansville, Patti Dionisio (Glenn) of Duncansville, and Debbie Richards of Acme; a brother-in-law, James Helfrich; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Lucic, and four sisters: Cindy McDonald, Donna Jean Helfrich, Jackie Reid, and infant Paulette.
Kay was a graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. She retired from A&P, where she worked in accounting.
She loved to travel.
Friends will be received from 2-6pm on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Duncansville. A Mass will be celebrated at 9am on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Hollidaysburg. Father Alan E. Thomas will officiate. Interment will take place at Old St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hollidaysburg.
