Matthew T Shoenfelt

Matthew T. Shoenfelt, age 48, of Roaring Spring, died unexpectedly on Sunday, November 5, 2023 following a short illness. He was born December 21, 1974 in Roaring Spring, a son of Janet E. (Kauffman) Shoenfelt and the late Fred T. Shoenfelt Jr.

He is survived by his mother, Janet; four siblings: Craig Shoenfelt (Marcy), Jeff Shoenfelt (Pam), Michael Shoenfelt (Kim), and Janell Brown (Guy); six nieces and nephews: Marvin, Jordan, Jacob, Daniel, Lindsay, and Dustin; and several great-nieces and nephews.

Matt was a Class of 1993 graduate of Central High School and also a graduate of the Altoona Beauty School. He was a US Army veteran.

He was a barber and the proud owner of The Shop. He enjoyed riding his Harley, traveling, and having a good time with friends. He had a passion for music and enjoyed fine foods and wine.

Friends will be received for a Celebration of Life from 5-8pm on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, with Military Honors, at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Duncansville.

As Matt would say: "See ya on the flip side, ya chowda heads".
