Michael G. Chisko, age 83, of Altoona, died Friday evening, October 20, 2017, at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh. He was born March 9, 1934 in Altoona, a son of the late George E. and Willoughby M. (Riley) Chisko. He married Barbara (Hmel) Knott-Chisko on May 18, 1988.
Survived by his wife, Barbara; 5 children: Michael Chisko, Jr. of FL, Dawn Hagen of IN, Ronald Chisko of Altoona, Anthony Chisko of Williamsport, and Todd Chisko of OH; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; 3 brothers: Gerald Chisko, Eugene Chisko and Joseph Chisko; and a step-daughter, Susan Tallasky.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Tammy Sharp; 2 brothers: Richard and George; and a step-son, Brian Knott.
Michael was a graduate of Altoona Catholic School. He was a USMC Veteran during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament and the Park Hills Country Club. He was a self-employed dry-wall finisher and painter.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing or services.
