Obituary

Michele L. Russell, age 53, of Duncansville, died unexpectedly Saturday, August 19, 2023 at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh. She was born December 30, 1969 in Altoona, the daughter of Richard and Susan (Keller) Heverly. She married Craig A. Russell on April 29, 1996 in Wheeling W. Va.

She is survived by her husband; her parents; two sons: Kevin Russell and Keith Russell (Star Dunkle); two grandchildren: Kayden and Jemma; and two siblings: Richard Heverly and Melissa Kapusta.

Michele was a 1988 graduate of Altoona High School. She worked for Sheetz.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 from 5 until the 7pm funeral service at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Duncansville. Pastor Don Mast will officiate. Interment will take place at New Canoe Creek Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to be made to: Sheetz For The Kidz (5700 Sixth Ave., Altoona, PA 16602).
