Mona I (McCormick) Bomgardner

Mona I. Bomgardner, age 76, of Hollidaysburg, died Monday morning, September 3, 2018, at UPMC Altoona following a brief illness. Born August 29, 1942 in Altoona, a daughter of the late Joseph and Pauline (Brooks) McCormick.

Survived by two children: Robert Worthy of the Poconos area and Brenda Rhine of Hollidaysburg; 5 grandchildren: Daniel, Justin, Jessica, Jennifer and Sarah; 9 great-grandchildren; a sister Norma; and three brothers: Jerry, Kenneth and Bill.

She was preceded in death by two husbands: Kenneth Worthy and Harry Bomgardner, and a brother, Joe.

Mona attended Altoona High School. She retired as a nurses aide from the Veterans Home.

There will be no viewing. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
