Norma Fahr Obituary

Norma Jean Fahr, age 87, a resident of Maybrook Hills, Altoona, formerly of Duncansville, died Monday, February 1, 2021 at the home. She was born November 1, 1933 in Altoona, daughter of the late Charles W. Jorden, Jr. and LaRue (Crosley) Jorden. She married Calvin W. Farh on Feb. 10, 1969 in Winchester, VA. He preceded her in death on Feb. 16, 2008.

Survived by three children: Alicia V. Fahr of Prescott Valley, Arizona, Bruce D. Fahr of Altoona, and Glenn W. "Jode" Campbell, Jr. of Altoona; 4 grandchildren; and a couple great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Greg E. Campbell, and three siblings: Charles W. Jorden III, Paul Jorden, and David Jorden.

Norma was a graduate of Altoona High School. She worked mainly as a secretary, last working for Dr. Piper at Lakemont Veterinary Clinic, Altoona.

She loved animals. In her past, she enjoyed singing, fishing and boating at Glendale Lake.
