Norma R Heiss

Norma Ruth Heiss, age 80, of Duncansville, died Thursday afternoon, January 26, 2023 at UPMC Altoona, following a brief illness. She was born June 16, 1942 in Duncansville, a daughter of the late Carl R. and Verna I. (Walters) Heiss.

Surviving is a sister Paula Snyder of Duncansville; a nephew John Snyder of Duncansville; a niece Jennifer Snyder of Florida; and a great-niece Mila Mitre and a great-nephew Aydan Mitre, both of Florida.

Norma was a 1960 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. She retired from NPC Claysburg. She previously worked at Pennsylvania Shoe and Butterick. Following retirement, she babysat Brad and Taylor, which she enjoyed a lot. She loved going to yard sales, shopping, and traveling.

She was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Church, Duncansville.

At Norma's request, there will be no public viewing. A Mass will be said in memory of Norma at 8am on Monday, February 20, 2023 at St. Catherine of Siena Church, Duncansville. Interment will take place at New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hollidaysburg.
