Orville Smith Jr Obituary

Orville W. Smith, Jr., age 85, of East Freedom, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 24, 2022. He was born September 20, 1936 in Altoona, a son of the late Orville W., Sr. and Helen M. (Pope) Smith. He married Wanda Lee Feathers on July 2, 1979 in Winchester, VA. She also died unexpectedly on Tuesday, May 24, 2022.

Surviving is a step-daughter, Kimberly L. Morrison of Lakemont; several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; a brother, Howard A. Smith (Connie) of Duncansville; and nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Jim Morrison.

Orville was a 1954 graduate of Hollidayburg High School. He was a US Army veteran. He retired from Small Tube Products, Duncansville.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no public viewing or services. Private interment will take place at Alto-Reste Cemetery.
