Richard C. “Chris” Heil, age 75, of Hollidaysburg, went home to be with his Lord Jesus Christ on Thursday afternoon, November 8, 2018. at his residence. He was born February 13, 1943 in Cincinnati, OH, a son of the late Eugene and Marjorie (Molden) Heil.
Survived by his wife, Peggyann Carnill; a son Christian Heil; a daughter Tiffani Doerr; three grandchildren: Jacob Doerr, Samantha Doerr, and Timberlynn Heil; a brother James Heil; a nephew Travis Heil; and three nieces: Emily, Tayrn, and Brynly Heil.
Chris was a graduate of Ridgewood High School, Ridgewood, NJ, Muskingum University and Lincoln University. He was a US Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam era.
He was a member of St. John’s Reformed Church, the Alto Model Train Museum, and on the church advisory board of the American Rescue Workers. He was an avid golfer, an artist, and a writer.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no public viewing or services at this time.
