Robert Paul Patterson

Robert Paul Patterson, age 72, of Greendown Acres, Duncansville, died Sunday morning, November 21, 2021, after a brief illness. He was born April 9, 1949 in Altoona, a son of the late Paul R. and Helen C. (Grant) Patterson. He married Sharon L. Reilly on Nov. 11, 1972 in Hollidaysburg. She preceded him in death Oct. 4, 1997.

Surviving are a son, John P. “JP” Patterson (wife Cheryl); two grandsons: Aaron and Eli Patterson; two brothers: Joseph and Stephen Patterson; and a sister, Lisa Claar, all of Hollidaysburg.

He was preceded in death by a brother, David Patterson.

Robert was a 1967 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. He was a US Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam Era. He retired from Fonda Container, Co., Williamsburg, where he was a print machine operator.

He was a member of the American Legion Post 516, Hollidaysburg, and was a lifetime volunteer firefighter for Phoenix Vol. Fire Dept., Station 10.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no public services. Interment will take place at Presbyterian Cemetery, Hollidaysburg.
