Ronald I Delozier

Ronald I. Delozier, age 85, of Bellwood, died Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at home, following a brief illness. He was born February 22, 1939 in Hollidaysburg, a son of the late Paul Wilmer and Effa (Kagarise) Delozier-Commons. He married the former Bonnie L. Hollen on November 4, 1960 at Foot of Ten Bible Church, Duncansville. She preceded him in death on December 23, 2016.

Surviving are three children: Vincent R. Delozier (Kathy) in Virginia, Rhonda L. Swartz (Dave) in Ohio, and Scott E. Delozier (Renee) of Bellwood; three grandchildren: Jeremy Swartz, Phillip Swartz, and Jared Delozier; and 5 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Fred R. Delozier and Jesse W. Delozier.

Ron was a US Air Force Veteran, serving from 1956 until 1960. He retired from F.L. Smithe Machine Co., where he was a machine technician.

He was an avid woodworker and enjoyed photography and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
