Shane K Lanzendorfer

Shane K. Lanzendorfer, age 42, of Newry, died unexpectedly at home on Friday, July 29, 2022. He was born August 7, 1979 in Altoona, a son of Bernard A. and Marilyn L. (Muri) Lanzendorfer.

Surviving are his parents; three brothers: Bernard Jr., Brenten (Tiffany), and Dustin; and a nephew, Trenten, who he enjoyed spending time with.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Natasha Marie, in 1977.

Shane was a 1997 graduate of Hollidaysburg High School and a graduate of I.T.T. Technical Institute. He had worked at PennState on NASA’s Swift Satellite Project.

He was a member of St. Patrick Church, Newry. Shane enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He helped his parents take care of their property and the family kennel. He loved animals, being outdoors, music, and riding his motorcycle.

Shane was very caring and always wanted to see everyone happy.

Friends will be received on Thursday, August 4, 2022 from 11am until the 1pm funeral service, officiated by Father Allen Zeth, at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Duncansville. Interment will take place at New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hollidaysburg.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Central PA Humane Society (1837 E. Pleasant Valley Blvd., Altoona, PA 16602).
