Sharon M Smith

Sharon M. Smith, age 54, of Newry, died unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, November 5, 2020. She was born August 1, 1966 in Roaring Spring, a daughter of Dale C. Smith and the late Betty F. (Helsley) Smith.

Survived by her father, Dale, of Puzzletown; a daughter, Shannon Hamilton (Taylor) of Bedford; 5 siblings: Rodney L. Smith (Lisa) of Duncansville, Pam Ledden of Hollidaysburg, Connie Lingenfelter of Altoona, Dale Smith, Jr. (Gary Holt) of Clearfield, and Gail Smith of Duncansville; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Sharon was a 1984 graduate of Central High School. She worked at Inlow’s in Duncansville for 34 years. She was currently working for Rutter’s in Duncansville over the past 3 years.

She enjoyed bowling and was on a bowling league at Holiday Bowl. She loved spending time with her nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Friends will be received from 5-7pm on Tues., Nov. 10, 2020, immediately followed by a funeral service  at 7pm, officiated by Pastor Todd Bowles, at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., Duncansville. Interment will take place at Carson Valley Cemetery.
